Cute Queen Ann cottage, with a small english garden in the front that is watered by the shower. The front yard is made up of three types of St. Augustine grass. Looks great in the summer, but gets a little brown in the winter. We like that St. Augustine grass provides it own thick mat, that acts like a mulch layer. It was hard to get the landscaper to cut the grass and leave the clippings, they are so use to hauling them away. By leaving the clippings we are adding a natural mulch to help shield the soil from the direct sunlight. Also the clipping secure the carbon at this house instead of some landfill.
